Light floods through the tall 19th century French doors that open onto a balcony overlooking the main square of this medieval trading town right on the Dordogne River, not far from St Emilion in the beautiful Bordeaux wine country of Aquitaine.
Ste-Foy is a sophisticated French provincial town with nearby historical sites and great restaurants, cafes and bars. The Saturday market, right outside the apartment building, is famous, and rated in the top 100 markets in France.

THE GOOD LIFE
Sainte Foy has great bars, cafés and restaurants within easy walking distance, and surrounding towns. Our favourite restaurant in town is rated as a Michelin "Bib Gourmand". If wine is your thing, there is a wine makers collective in the square. Bordeaux is an hour away, St Emilion about 30 minutes away, and Bergerac is about 20 minutes away.
